How we store your personal information

Your personal information is stored and backed up on our booking system Cliniko and kept there for up to eight years since the last visit.

This is kept so that the patient can access it, and if needed, protect the clinician in the event of a complaint.

Under GDPR rules patients have the legal right to request that their information is deleted. However, the eight-year rule for maintaining patient records, takes priority.

Electronic files will be deleted and papers shredded.

You have the right to access your files.

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
